Inspired Arts is a family run business and all paintings are produced by the owner and artist Shafiq Ahmed, whose work has been sold all over the world. We offer a very personal service and Shafiq will always try to accommodate your colour scheme into his work, resulting in stunning art work that looks priceless in your home.As a young lad Shafiq was inspired by art and started drawing landscapes, buildings, motor vehicles and learned many different techniques.

Shafiq is a self taught artist who has used all his experience in creating an adventurous style and his passion for what he creates is an inspiration to all.

Inspired Arts has developed from Shafiq’s personal ambition and desire to combine modern, contemporary art with exemplary Islamic Art. Islamic Art that has enriched the world we live in today. From early Kufic Scripts (Named after the city al-Kufa, in southern Iraq) to modern Islamic art we see today.

Through his brilliant use of colour and his superb balance between design and form, Shafiq’s art creates an immediate visual impact. Its strong aesthetic appeal transcends distances in time and space, as well as differences in language, culture, and creed.

Many Non-Muslims have purchased Shafiq’s work and have been amazed by his work and Islamic art, this has then opened the door for them to read and contemplate the meaning of the scripture.

Our Islamic artworks are unique, hand-painted using, acrylic or mix media on canvas and signed by Shafiq himself to prove authenticity. All canvass are ready to hang.
